Prebrief

Count back from your meeting

Put in the meeting date and where your child goes to school. Every step gets its own day, from two weeks before to two weeks after.

Most of what changes a meeting happens before it: asking for the draft, gathering your side of the picture, picking the three things that matter most. Each step links to the free page that helps you do it, where there is one.

Prebrief is not a lawyer, and this checklist is not legal advice.

In Ontario or Alberta, some steps run on a fixed number of days set by the rules. Work out those dates.

Where is your child’s school?

Your meeting date and where you live stay in this browser on this device. We never receive them, and Start over erases them.

One file, with one event for each step on its day and a reminder at 9 that morning. The file is made in your browser and opens in whatever calendar you use. We don’t send reminder emails. Your own calendar does the reminding, so we never need your address.

Put in the meeting date and pick where the school is, and your steps appear here, each on its own day.
